AI research support

Accelerating innovation, optimizing outcomes and unlocking new possibilities with AI

As KNUST researchers work to address Ghana’s and Africa’s most pressing challenges, our goal is to provide the tools and support they need to succeed. AI has become an essential part of the modern research toolkit, opening new opportunities to advance impactful solutions for society.

The Office of the Coordinator for AI Courses, in collaboration with KNUST’s research and computing units and the Responsible Artificial Intelligence Lab, KNUST, provides faculty, students, and staff with access to AI models, tools, and high-performance computing resources.

By making AI platforms and resources available across all disciplines, we foster an inclusive environment for AI research that integrates scientific, humanistic, and creative exploration.

Our infrastructure ensures the power and flexibility needed to push boundaries in AI research whether developing AI-driven applications, exploring generative AI, or applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to complex local and global challenges.
